A potentially faulty component in these products may cause them to blow a fuse and result in damage to both the interior and exterior of the products and components to which they are connected, and may present a potential fire hazard.

To prevent this problem from occurring, Linn Products Ltd is offering a free repair of these products.

Products subject to this recall are models Linn AV 5105 and Linn LK 240 Amplifiers and Linn Melodik/5150 Extension Loudspeaker Systems. The model number and serial number may be found on the front panel, printed on the bottom of the product or the control panel near the mains inlet. Before checking the model and serial numbers the product must be switched off and disconnected from the electricity supply.

These products were sold in specialist retail stores worldwide.

Owners should stop using the recalled products immediately.
