When a disc is loaded, the Unidisk 1.1 will quickly detect the highest performance signal available on the disc and will extract all digital information in the original format. This effectively means that the Unidisk 1.1 can be considered a separate CD, SACD, DVD-Video and DVD-Audio player in one box, automatically and precisely configuring itself to give the best possible performance for the most involving audio and video experience.

For those who enjoy surround sound music or movies, Unidisk 1.1 also features analogue and encoded digital multi-channel audio outputs, which have been optimised to deliver the best possible audio performance.

Unidisk 1.1 benefits from ‘silent power’ from an evolved version of Linn’s Switch Mode Power Supply which delivers power to the internal circuitry and minimises the effects of noise from the mains supply on the product performance. Where conventional power supplies operate through the standard audio bandwidth, Linn high-frequency Switch Mode Power Supplies instead convert power at frequencies well outside the audio bandwidth ensuring the audio signal is unaffected by this conversion and all you hear is the music.

Available in a choice of silver and black finishes, Unidisk 1.1 is also multi-room enabled which means that you can enjoy music throughout your home as part of a Linn Knekt multi-room system.
